You may think life in Elm Haven, an assisted living facility, would be a sleepy existence with an occasional bingo game for excitement. That is not the case for these four classy women: Barbara, Marjorie, Liz and Elsie. The facility is under new management and no one is happy with the changes. Then, life gets really interesting when the newest resident turns out to be a younger man of 60.

Skilly & Duff Irish Trio will present an evening of traditional Irish songs and stories at the New London Little Theatre, Saturday, March 11th, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.
Skilly & Duff were the first place winners in the Irish music competition at the 2009 Irish Fair of Minnesota in St. Paul, and have been featured performers at fairs, festivals and pubs across the region. The group has toured Ireland with their music and is currently working on a musical tour of Nova Scotia.
Skilly & Duff shows include everything from beautiful ancient ballads to comedic music hall tunes to rocking jigs and reels; from poems and toasts to jokes and stories.
Always entertaining, much of the Skilly & Duff material has been gleaned from the repertoire of actual Irish country pubs, and people who travel extensively in Ireland often comment that these shows are truly “like a trip to Ireland”. |
